Meet Our Staff
Sweney
LPN, Practice Administrator
Sweney has been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 2014, and has been in the Allergy/Immunology field ever since. She has been employed with San Tan Allergy and Asthma since 2015, and has been fortunate enough to work her way from a back office LPN working with many different providers, to becoming the Practice Administrator in 2020. She has always been passionate about the medical field, regardless of any position she has held, and finds it extremely rewarding to be able to continue helping people. This position has promoted a lot of growth for her not only in her personal life, but also in her professional life. Sweney was born in Northern California, and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. In her free time she enjoys being a mother to her son, in addition to spending time with her family. She also loves to travel when she has the opportunity to do so.
Kalene
LPN, Clinical Manager
Kalene has been working in healthcare since 2016, beginning her career in allergy and immunology. After some time, she transitioned into orthopedic surgery to explore a different path but soon realized her true passion lies in allergy and immunology. She returned to the field where she felt most fulfilled and has since had the opportunity to work alongside a variety of providers. Over the years, Kalene has grown into leadership roles, initially as a supervisor and now as a clinical manager. In her current position, she manages both the clinical team and administrative staff, all while continuing her education in healthcare and leadership to further advance her career and expand her skills.
Outside of work, Kalene is an avid fan of murder and crime podcasts. They’re her go-to for keeping her brain engaged while she’s doing just about anything. She enjoys diving into mysteries, unraveling twists and turns as the stories unfold. When she’s not listening to podcasts, Kalene can be found experimenting in the kitchen, baking up a storm, or binge-watching TV shows—she’s always starting a new series. And yes, she might get caught stress-cleaning the house, either to avoid something else or simply because a shiny surface caught her attention. Sticking to just one hobby is practically impossible for her; Kalene is always jumping between interests, trying new things, and constantly learning—whether it’s a new hobby or a random fact that piques her curiosity. She loves variety and keeping life interesting, with no clear favorites in sight.

Vincent
Medical Assistant
I am a first year medical assistant with SanTan Allergy being my first place of employment fresh out of school. I am 20 years old and love to play and watch sports, be outdoors, and hangout with friends and family. I have lived in Arizona my whole life and actually struggle with asthma myself. I feel like having asthma myself allows me to be able to connect with the patients I’m interacting with as I know how hard life can be. I have really come to enjoy all of the things medical assistants do such as caring for patients and helping them do the things they love to do so everybody can be happy. In the future, I am going back to school to become a CST (Certified Surgical Technician). I am always looking to learn new things and expand my knowledge to not only the allergy and asthma side of the field but everything in between. I am willing to help when and where I am needed no matter what lies ahead.
